It really is a wonderful place and very much worth a visit if you're ever in the area ❤️ There is a magical little cottage near the Fairy Lake called the Round House, nestled in a woodland clearing not far from the water. It's a holiday cottage, so the dream to live by the Fairy Lake can be a reality ✨

What a beautiful place, I loved taking this walk with you - a lovely read. You've made me want to visit there too!

That oak is just magnificent, it's energy is clear even from the photograph. And I was very interested to learn that willow tits are on the red list - as I picked up a call from one on my Merlin app. a few weeks ago. That's an excellent sign - and it was in my garden too :-)

Oh, thanks so much for your kind comment Melissa - I'm so glad you enjoyed reading, and it's so exciting you have evidence of Willow Tits in your garden too ❤️

I'd definitely recommend a visit to Ickworth if you ever get the chance, as it's such a beautiful place and so full of different little routes to explore ☺️

Thanks so much for your lovely comment Emily 🥰 I'm so glad you enjoyed reading this. I struggle with my confidence and self worth when it comes to my writing, so it means the world to me to know I can help inspire people, even just a little ❤️

I would heartily recommend a visit to Ickworth if you ever get the chance - it's a truly stunning place, and has such glorious areas to explore. There's some especially magical trees along the flow of the River Linnet ❤️ It's wonderful at this time of year, but equally lovely in the winter, especially around January/February time when the Snowdrops and first early spring flowers begin to bloom x

What a lovely place - I can definitely see why you like it.

If I lived close I would be so interested to watch the old walled garden being gradually restored. And of course ancient trees are endlessly fascinating. Thanks for sharing :-)
